The work aims to design an environmentally responsible school in a specific situation according to the innovative education principles focused on forest schools. The work reacts to the absence of forest schools in the Kroměříž region and offers an alternative to regular education systems and the regular appearance of the schools. The proposal is applied in Kroměříž. I design interventions in fore locations with different spatial characteristics. The interventions evolve existing features and characteristics of the location or make the accessible. Those interventions should be used not only for education but also for the locals.
Attitudes of Outdoor Education Specialization Students at Charles University Faculty of Physical Education and Sport towards Adrenaline Sports

Title: Attitudes of Outdoor Education Specialization Students at Charles University Faculty of Physical Education and Sport towards Adrenaline Sports. Aims: The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to analyse the relationship of students specializing in outdoor education at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University, towards adrenaline sports or challenging activities and determine whether their attitudes have changed after choosing this specialization. Methods: 83 students specializing in outdoor education participated in the research. An anonymous survey method was used. The survey was created on the Survio online platform and subsequently distributed via email or personal contact. The survey consisted of 19 questions, including 13 closed-ended, 3 semi-closed, and 3 open-ended questions. The resulting data were processed and evaluated using Microsoft Excel, and the subsequent values were inserted into pie charts and bar graphs and briefly described. All data obtained through this survey were used for the research results. Results: The results of the survey showed that the overall attitude of respondents towards adrenaline sports is 75.9% positive. Title: Schools in nature in primary education in the Karlovy Vary Region Objectives: To summarize a survey of programme parts of schools in nature at primary schools in the Karlovy Vary region. Methods: The bachelor thesis uses a quantitative approach to research. The necessary information was obtained by the questionnaire survey method. The research sample counted 20 teachers from primary schools in the Karlovy Vary Region. Results: Primary schools in the Karlovy Vary Region organise schools in nature. The main aims are to build a class team and to increase the pupils' understanding of the teacher-pupil relationship. The main activities used in the programme are outdoor trips, hiking and outdoor games. The daily programme consists of a morning lesson, an afternoon spent in nature and various games, while the evening programme includes board games and screenings. Conclusion: According to the results, schools in nature are a popular part of pupils' education in the Karlovy Vary Region outside the traditional school environment. Silvie Svobodová, Ph.D. ABSTRACT The thesis explores the utilization of Královská obora Stromovka, an urban park, as a suitable location for organizing excursions and environmental educational programs focused on birds. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of zoological topics, specifically bird- related subjects, within the curriculum framework and examines their treatment in textbooks. Furthermore, the theoretical section provides a characterization of the chosen location from both historical and current perspectives, along with an overview of bird protection regulations in European and Czech legislation. The concluding portion of the theoretical part outlines excursions as an educational method and environmental education program. Title: School in nature in primary education in the Karlovy Vary Region Objectives: Find out the content of schools in nature at the 1st grade of elementary schools in the Karlovy Vary region. Methods: The bachelor's thesis uses a quantitative approach to research. The necessary information was obtained by the questionnaire survey method. The research group consisted of 10 teachers from primary schools in the Karlovy Vary region. Results: The results show that primary schools organize outdoor schools. The program of outdoor schools mainly includes hiking in outdoor activities. Primary schools do not use the help of agencies dealing with outdoor schools, but prepare a program for pupils independently. The impact of the Mindful camp outdoor course on conscious attention

Title: The impact of the Mindful camp outdoor course on conscious attention Objectives: To investigate the short- and long-term impact the Mindful camp outdoor course had on participants' conscious attention. Methods: This thesis uses qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews conducted with five anonymous adult participants of the Mindful camp outdoor course held 13-17 July 2022. The interviews were conducted before the camp, just after the camp, and five months after the camp. An open coding method was used to analyze and evaluate respondent's statements. Results: The three and half days long Mindful camp outdoor course had a positive short-term impact on the conscious attention of all five respondents. Only two of the five respondents felt a long-term impact on mindful attention five months after the camp. The other two were unable to assess the impact, and one respondent dismissed it completely. However, the outdoor environment was rated by all five respondents as very helpful and supportive of the process for practicing mindfulness and developing conscious attention, despite the perceived higher demands of the outdoor environment compared to the indoor environment. Possibilities of using leisure and experiential pedagogy in relation to the teaching of biology

This bachelor thesis deals with experiential education and leisure education and possibilities of using their aspects in schools teaching, especially in Biology and Natural history. There is a need for clarification of definitions in the introduction, which will be followed by a brief chapter on history of experiential learning and leisure education in Czech environment. The main goal of this thesis is to point out that aspects of both branches of education have already been used in some modern education methods. Selected methods are closely described, for example their possible benefits and disadvantages or their extent in education at Czech schools. In conclusion, those methods are then compared with experiential learning and leisure education for confirmation of the main hypothesis of this thesis.

Title: Outdoor Activities for Children from Socially Disadvantaged Environments Objectives: The objective of this bachelor's thesis was to propose a set of outdoor games and activities suitable for children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Methods: A descriptive-analytical approach was employed, specifically involving content analysis of texts related to the topic of social disadvantage and outdoor games. The gathered information was carefully organized and systematically processed to create a clear and concise summary. Results: A compilation of outdoor games for children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Conclusions: The suggested collection of games can serve as a methodological guide for organizers of outdoor programs tailored for children and youth from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Summer Camps from the Instructors' Point of View

The thesis deals with instructors at summer camps. The main aim of the thesis is to try to find out, through qualitative interviews, what motivates counselors to continue to be involved as camp counselors. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the pedagogy of leisure and leisure time, the theoretical part introduces summer camps, their staff and the concept of motivation. The research part deals with the research question itself. In this part, four stories obtained through individual interviews with camp counselors are analysed. The analysis of the stories was conducted in the form of narrative-oriented research using two of its perspectives that range in content.
An effect of attended outdoor education on pre-service biology teachers

This diploma thesis deals with the effect of attended outdoor education on pre-service biology students at University in České Budějovice. There is an explanation of what is outdoor education and what are its schemes and forms in the theoretical part. Then there are the benefits and disadvantages of outdoor education which relate to the reasons why outdoor education is or is not part of teaching biology. In the last part of the theoretical part there is the incorporation of outdoor education into the RVP ZV and a chapter about outdoor education in other researches. A questionnaire was assembled based on the theoretical part and it was sent to former students of Faculty of Education in České Budějovice who studied biology. The outcomes of the questionnaire are in the last part. By some students the correlation of the number of participated outdoor courses and results of the studying was made but no relation was confirmed.
